Bruno Baltazar is the new head coach of the Estoril Praia main squad. With the coach also arrive at Amoreira Guilherme Ramos and Eddie Cardoso.
The 41-years-old Portuguese coach, from Lisbon, has gone through clubs like Sintrense, Atlético CP, Casa Pia and Olhanense. In international terms, Bruno Baltazar went through the national team of the Philippines, for Qatar, El Jaish SC and recently for Cyprus, AEL Limassol and APOEL, the club for which he became champion.
Bruno Baltazar comments that: “I arrive at Estoril Praia with a positive expectation and a club with clear aspirations since the beginning of the season. I come with a missionary spirit and committed to represent a historic First League club and that, despite being in a less good moment and being aware of the difficulties, we are focused to help the club achieve its goal. ”
According to the coach, “we are competing in a league with very specific characteristics, with very well played games, with very balanced and competitive teams, with three or four teams that bet heavily on the purpose of the going up to Liga NOS, where we include ourselves. Although the first two teams are well positioned, we will certainly have a second round of very competitive, well-contested competition, where teams will have to work hard to get their points. We have little room for error, but we will be focused on our tasks and on our main objective, which is Liga NOS. ”
“Although I know Estoril Praia well, its fans and its importance for the region where it is inserted, it is one thing to listen to the feedback of who is out and what they say about the club and another is to get here and see how the club works. I was very surprised by what I found, I came with high expectations and I managed to overcome them, I was very well received by all people and by all departments. The sports section is often spoken of but, in addition to excellent working conditions, I have found a professional team of people who work daily in various aspects of the club and who guarantee all the conditions so that the technical team and the players can play and achieve the success that we all want. I feel very good and I am very optimistic “, says the new Estoril Praia coach.
