Gilson Tavares, forward of Estoril Praia, made his debut for the Cape Verde team this Saturday, October 10, against the Guinean team. Pedro Brito, coach of the Cape Verdean team, chose Gilson to join the selection stage with a view to preparing the qualifying games for the 2021 African Nations Cup, in November this year. The Under 23 Magicians player made his national team debut, 79 minutes into the game, in a friendly match against the Guinean national team. Gilson Tavares returns this week to the Estoril Center of Excellence to integrate the preparation of the next game of the Revelation League, against SL Benfica.
