On the occasion of the first round of the Pro 2020/2021 League, Estoril Praia started an innovative campaign to appeal to the presence of supporters in the stadium.
If in the first phase of the initiative – ‘Emotion is at the stadium’ – this appeal was addressed to the qualified authorities, underlining the importance of finding creative solutions to adapt this “new normal”, the focus of the campaign now turns to supporters .
Continuing to use the space on the game jersey usually reserved by clubs for the main sponsor, Estoril Praia now uses secondary equipment, light blue and white – colors of the traditional surgical mask – in honor of work made by health professionals.
“Don’t be offside”, the slogan chosen for the campaign and which once again appears in the space of the jersey usually used for the main sponsor.
«Above all the measures that can be implemented to allow the public to return to the stadiums, it will be the responsible behavior of the supporters, inside and outside the stadiums, that will allow our ambition», explained the President of Estoril Praia SAD, Jeffrey Saunders.
«As we have all learned in this new era, the use of the mask is essential to control the spread of the virus. The slogan of the campaign ‘Don’t be offside’ is an appeal to supporters to wear a mask and take appropriate precautions to protect themselves and the people around them, thus allowing the epidemiological situation to be controlled and speeding up the return to the stadiums » , he also referred.
