Igor Rodrigues, goalkeeper with 23 years old and 1.91m in height, will be another option in the fight for the Estoril Praia goal. The player arrives at Amoreira after three seasons representing the “Serranos” of Sporting Clube de Covilhã.
Born in Leiria, Igor Rodrigues passed through Sport Clube Leiria e Marrazes, União Desportiva de Leiria, Sporting Clube de Pombal, Associação Académica de Coimbra and União Desportiva da Tocha, having finished his training in the last one. As a senior player, he represented the União Desportiva da Tocha and Futebol Clube de Oliveira do Hospital before joining Sporting Clube da Covilhã, a club he excelled in, having played 29 games in the 2017/2018 season.
The goalkeeper spoke about his coming to the club as “a challenge that he comes to embrace with all his dedication, commitment and will to evolve”, regarding the objectives for the season, “I think the goal of the club is known for all and I came to help make it a reality”.
