Two days before the match against Sporting Clube de Braga the striker Ewandro, recent reinforcement, gives the headline for the duel. “We can and we want to give a good response and surprise SC Braga. We already surprised Sporting this year and we want to repeat a good result. The next game is always to win regardless of the opponent. “Let’s enter with the heart on the tip of the boot,” he said, in anticipation of the match.
After five matches representing Estoril Praia, the striker reinforces the idea of a “very competitive” championship and sets a goal that he does not see as primordial but still has in mind. “In 14 games, I would like to score at least six goals, but first of all I came to help Estoril and to have a great performance,” he said, referring to the first goal as a striker. “It’s always good to score, against anyone, as a striker I always want to score and help. Scoring against Sporting ended up having more visibility once it was against a team that fights to win the championship”.
Ewandro understands that the team will give a good response in the next matches and that against Belenenses and GD Chaves lacked the “conclusion” and some happiness. “We had attitude, we pressed, we created opportunities but lacked the concretization,” he concluded.
The game Estoril Praia – SC Braga is scheduled for 8:30 pm on Saturday at the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota. Women have the right to free entry (and may invite an accompanying person), an initiative alluding the International Women’s Day marking 8 March.
