This Saturday, at Estádio António Coimbra da Mota, the match between Estoril Praia and Belenenses will be more than a football spectacle. The match will have a social aspect, with members being able to pick up a ticket in exchange for one or more non-perishable food items, which will be delivered to social solidarity institutions.
In the press conference that precedes the game, coach Ivo Vieira called for the involvement of all in supporting the team and who needs it most. “There is a campaign of solidarity with the delivery of food for this game and I hope to participate that will come to push us towards our goals.”
As for the duel inside the field, an alert to the crew: “We come from a series of good results but we have to be focused and not wait for facilities from our opponent,” he said, recalling the still uncomfortable position on the table. “We must try to continue this moment,” he said.
The derby is scheduled for 8:30 pm this Saturday at Amoreira. People wishing to participate in food delivery can do at door 1 of the Stadium.
