The match between Estoril Praia and FC Porto, referring to the 18th matchday of the NOS League, which was interrupted on Monday night, will be resumed on February 21, at 18 hours, which is a possibility that lacks final validation of UEFA, given the existence of games of European competitions on that day. The decision was taken by the Liga Portugal, considering all the constraints of the schedule, after a meeting with Estoril Praia and FC Porto, which took place on Tuesday morning at Estádio António Coimbra da Mota.
This meeting was preceeded by another meeting between Liga Portugal, Estoril Praia and FC Porto, with representatives of the Cascais City Council, the National Civil Protection Authority, the National Civil Engineering Laboratory (LNEC), the National Republican Guard and the company that built the northern stand of the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota, in order to make a first evaluation of the stand.
The National Civil Engineering Laboratory (LNEC) will carry out a technical visit with a view to issue a preliminary opinion on the infrastructure, which will be given by the end of this week.
