Filipe Pedro asks for all support with Rio Ave

Rio Ave is the next opponent of Estoril Praia in Liga NOS. The match on Matchday 11 was approached by coach Filipe Pedro, who highlighted the team’s “small achievements” throughout the work week and the spirit that should prevail against the Vilacondenses.

“What makes me believe that the team continues to believe that we are going to turn around is the attitude in the training and the commitment that we have every day. We have focused on the small achievements we have achieved throughout the week and we want to transfer them for the game” began the coach of the Estorilista, asking that support in Amoreira be maintained. “The supporters have had a fantastic attitude, unconditional support regardless of the results we have had. We are not asking for anything more or less than what has supported us so far because it has been fantastic”.

Refusing to point fingers to sectors within the team, the coach said that all aspects to improve were worked over the last few days and that the goal also involves “creating more finishing situations”. Filipe Pedro also left compliments to the opponent, currently seventh in the Liga NOS. “Rio Ave is one of the best teams in the league to play in organized attack and in defensive terms is an aggressive and pressing team.It is very well prepared in the various moments of the game and also has a lot of individual quality. It will be a difficult game however does not invalidate that we face the game with confidence and that we believe in a good result”.
