Estoril Praia will face Boavista this Friday, at the opening of the ninth round of the NOS League. At the press conference ahead of the meeting, coach Pedro Emanuel stressed that the moment of the team loses its dimension in a week in which the fires devastated Portugal and that was in the sense of overcoming that the work has developed in recent days.
“I have heard and read a lot about the difficulties of Estoril but this week the difficulties were in our country. Sometimes we think that we live in difficult situations but when we look at the calamity that devastated us this week and this summer, all this is less,” he said, before a game where the Estorilistas will return to pay homage to the firemen of Portugal, with the use of the equipment allusive to the soldiers of the peace.
“Sometimes we have to seek within ourselves something more than our individual quality. Despite the difficult moment there is unity and above all we are a team and this leads us to believe that we can do better” he added, noting the quality of the an opponent who has not lost in the Liga NOS since the arrival of Jorge Simão. “We see in the game with Boavista an opportunity to reverse the results of the last days.”
“The details that have eluded us are those we have to correct in order to get closer to winning points. We will overcome these difficulties together not only because the group deserves but also because the club and the fans deserve and we want to give them joys “.
The game is scheduled for 20:30 on Friday at the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota and will have the arbitration of Tiago Martins.
