Charalampos Kyriakou closed the accounts of the Estorilista squad on the last day of the market and wants to show that the last ones can also be the first ones. The 22-year-old Cypriot midfielder told of his coming to Portugal and his team-mates, who he called “good guys”.
“It’s my first time out of Cyprus but it’s to be a very important experience for my growth. It became easier for me because I had already worked with coach Pedro Emanuel and it was much simpler to choose. He himself knows my abilities” he told Estoril Praia’s official website.
The international refuses any increase in responsibility for being a rare case regarding the existence of Cypriots to serve in the Liga NOS, rather stressing their willingness to make their contribution. “I came to help the team achieve the goals. I still have not gotten to know much of my teammates but they all look like good guys, it’s a good group, and I’m sure we can achieve what we want”.
Already with Kyriakou integrated, the team returns to work this Wednesday, at 9:30 am, in Amoreira. The training will take place at the open door. Remember that the next game is scheduled for Sunday at 16 o’clock, against the Belenenses, at Restelo.
Thiago Cardoso, Luís Ribeiro and Mano remain delivered to the medical department, Abner underwent conditioning training.
