Estoril and Moreirense meet for the first time in the 2017/2018 edition of the Liga NOS and four points separate the two teams. Coach Pedro Emanuel talked about the meeting at a press conference, stressing the importance of keeping the place in the league table.
“Moreirense comes from an unfavorable cycle, lost at home with a direct rival … however we have to focus on what our work is because if we want to stay where we are we have to work and play a lot. it’s a lot to have the ball, patience and do what we like: get to the area, finish and be close to victory without conceding goals” he said, referring also to the opponent. “I expect a team with some lack of confidence but also with a lot of desire to be competent”.
The Estorilista coach also spoke of the work group, after the closing of the market. “We have made an effort to meet what the competitive needs were for each position, I am satisfied and confident in the capabilities of the team, we have raised the level of competitiveness, we are better prepared with these new solutions” he said.
The game between is scheduled for 20h15 this Sunday at Estádio António Coimbra da Mota. It will have arbitration of João Capela.
