This Friday Estoril Praia showed its appreciation and homage to the Portuguese Fire fighters at the Associação Humanitária de Bombeiros Voluntários do Estoril. The homage was simultaneously held to the presentation of the 3rd team equipment that showcases two coloured stripes, symbolizing water and fire and also the red and blue colours that represent the equipment used by the fire fighters, also known as “peace soldiers”.
Among the many people that attended the event, highlights go to the mayor of Câmara Municipal de Cascais, Carlos Carreiras, João Ribeiro in representation of Estoril SAD, Alxandre Faria, president of Grupo Desportivo Estoril Praia, and Rui Rama da Silva, representing the Liga dos Bombeiros Portugueses. Also present were the Federação Portuguesa de Futebol and the Associação de Futebol de Lisboa and the brands that support Estoril Praia this season.
The event ended with a special speech by coach Pedro Emanuel and players Gonçalo Brandão and Kléber, that in name of the team underlined the pride and honor to be part of this homage and to wear such a meaningful equipment. “We hope the beauty of this sweater matches the beauty of our victories”, claimed the Estoril coach.
