Sublinhando que o Estoril faz parte das “quatro melhores equipas que se apresentaram na prova” e tendo em conta a importância da partida, Pedro Emanuel convocou todos os jogadores e respondeu sobre quem irá estar na baliza amanhã. “O Luís tem feito um trabalho extraordinário desde que eu cheguei, tinha estado a defender e eu optei pelo Moreira mas amanhã é o Luís que defende. Porque trabalha bem, tem qualidade e merece”.
Até chegar a esta fase, pela segunda vez na história do clube, o Estoril venceu Caldas (0-1), Cova da Piedade (2-0), AD Sanjoanense (4-2) e Académica (2-1). Na primeira mão da eliminatória para apurar os finalistas o Estoril perdeu com o SL Benfica em casa (1-2).
A final, no Estádio do Jamor, está marcada para dia 28 de maio.
