The Estoril Praia 2018/2019 season as officially started today, with the usual medical examinations. At Estádio António Coimbra da Mota, the reinforcements Pedro Queirós, Renat Dadashov, João Patrão, César Ribela and João Gomes were already present. The remaining reinforcements, already announced by the club, Rafael Furlan, Sandro Lima and Diney Borges will arrive in the next few days at Amoreira, as well as, Jorman Aguilar, that already integrated the squad in the previous season.
In addition to the reinforcements, there were also present Gonçalo Santos, Duarte Valente, Allano, Matheus Índio, Pedro Monteiro, Bruno Gomes and Thierry Graça, as well as Gustavo Tocantins, Aylton Boa-Morte and Oumar Diakhité who returned to the club to integrate the team.
Still to arrive are also names like Dankler and Renan Ribeiro, exempt from appearing in Amoreira due to personal issues.
Speaking exclusively to the club’s website, Gonçalo Santos, one of the most experienced players on the squad, addressed the start of the work and the goals of the new season: “We are here to do our best, to work humbly and to be champions”, the midfielder also had the opportunity to comment on the arrival of his new teammates: “I know some of the reinforcements, they are great players with experience and they come to help us, to make us better and stronger”.
